Attendance with a front desk kiosk, room bookings with credits, scheduling time with people and parcels with a photo and email notice arrive in communities.

Today the coworking modules arrive: Attendance, Bookings, Scheduling and Parcels.

Attendance

What it is. A space that records who is on site: members tap I've arrived and I'm leaving, staff see who is here, register guests and fix visits, and a kiosk on the front desk iPad welcomes visitors without a login.

Where to find it. When creating a space, on the Coworking tab. See Attendance.

Room bookings with credits

What it is. Members book rooms, desks and stations paying in credits, which come from a monthly plan, a product or a manual grant by staff. There is a search for what is free, rescheduling, maintenance blocks and a calendar invite (.ics) by email with every booking.

Scheduling time with people

What it is. Members book a time slot with a person in the community (mentoring, class, appointment). A time offered by a member is always free; the credit-priced band is staff-only.

Parcels

What it is. The front desk registers letters and packages with a photo and location, the recipient gets an email notice and confirms pickup. There are returns, discards and a history.

Where to find it. A Parcels space, on the Coworking tab. See Parcels.

API

  • Attendance: /api/attendance/spaces/{spaceId}/... (check-in, check-out, guest-check-in, overview, present, visits, kiosks), GET /api/attendance/me/visits, PATCH and DELETE /api/attendance/visits/{visitId} and the kiosk routes under /api/attendance/kiosk/....
  • Bookings: /api/bookings (search, availability, amenities, bookings, cancel, reschedule, no-show and calendar.ics) and /api/bookings/resources with exceptions and price-rules.
  • Credits: /api/credits/me, /api/credits/me/entries, /api/credits/profiles/{profileId}, POST /api/credits/grants, POST /api/credits/adjustments and GET and PUT /api/credits/settings.
  • Scheduling: GET /api/scheduling/config, /api/scheduling/hosts, /api/scheduling/pending and PUT /api/scheduling/resources/{resourceId}/listing.
  • Parcels: /api/parcels/spaces/{spaceId}/... (overview, members, parcels), GET /api/parcels/me/parcels and /api/parcels/parcels/{parcelId} with photos, pickup, return, discard and reopen.

  • 65 new tools; the server now has 340. By role: owner and admin 340, finance 254, moderator 228 and member 151.
