Releases
Two-step verification arrived, with a code on WhatsApp, along with the virtual office for coworkings. Events gained a calendar invite, ticket transfer by the holder and name tags at the door; posts can ask for read confirmation, the player keeps personal notes, Surveys bring the mood pulse and Attendance sells day pass packs.
What's new
- Two-step verification. In My account › Security, each person turns on a second step at sign-in: after the password, Memberfy sends a 6-digit code to the phone on WhatsApp (or by text message), with no authenticator app and no cost to the community. It comes with 10 recovery codes, the option to remember the device for 90 days and an extra step before sensitive actions. The owner can require it from the team and set the default for members. See Two-step verification.
- Virtual office. Coworkings sell a business address and mail handling. In Settings › Coworking, the owner turns on the Virtual office, registers the address and marks the plans and products that include it. The client sees Your business address, is told about each letter with a photo of the envelope and chooses I'll pick it up, Forward or Discard; the front desk handles it in the Requests tab of Parcels. See Virtual office and Virtual office mail.
- Add to calendar. Whoever is attending an event has the Add to calendar button (Download .ics, Google Calendar and Outlook), and the registration email carries the invite. When the date, time or location change, attendees get the The event changed email with the updated invite. See Add to calendar.
- Ticket transfer. With Let the holder transfer on in the event, whoever bought a ticket and can't go hands it to someone else in My Account › My tickets, up to the deadline the community set. The new holder gets a new QR, and the old one stops working. See Ticket transfer.
- Name tags. On the check-in screen, the Name tags tab sets up the model (label, badge or A4 sheet, with up to two registration answers and the ticket QR) and prints the tag of whoever arrives, or everyone's before the event. See Name tags.
- Read confirmation. A post can ask for confirmation: whoever has access sees I have read and understood, and the team follows who confirmed and who didn't, exports the list and sends a reminder only to those missing. See Read confirmation.
- Notes in the player. In lessons and episodes, each person writes notes pinned to the minute of the video or audio and jumps back to that point in one click; My notes gathers every note of the course. Only the writer sees them. See My notes and Notes in Podcast.
- Mood pulse. In Surveys, the Mood pulse template asks every week how the person is doing, in one tap, and shows the owner, the admin and team leaders the weekly trend, without revealing who answered what. See Mood pulse.
- Day pass packs. In Attendance, whoever has no plan buys a pack of day passes in the Store (for example, 10 days), and each check-in day spends one pass. The person follows the balance in My passes, and the team adjusts the balance and sees the report. See Day pass packs and Day pass pack in the Store.
Improvements
- Own domain in the account request. The website's sign-up form asks whether you already have a domain, and the answer reaches whoever reviews the request.
- New security controls. We applied new security controls to Memberfy. Nothing changes in how you use it: everyone keeps seeing and doing the same as before.
