What each one contains

  • PIX generated: the copy-and-paste code and its validity, to pay straight from the email.
  • Boleto generated: the boleto link and the barcode line.
  • Confirmed: the product, the amount and the way to the community.
  • Declined: the reason, when the bank gives one, and an invitation to try again.
  • Expired: the notice that the PIX expired unpaid.
  • Refund: the amount returned.
  • Dispute: the notice that the cardholder disputed the purchase.
  • Subscription canceled: until when access lasts.
  • Renewal failed and Renew to keep your access: the way to pay. Sent once per past-due period, including when it is the payment processor that reports it.
  • Renewal charge: the copy-and-paste PIX or the boleto for the next renewal, to pay by the due date. See Renewal.
  • Renewal charged: "We charged … to renew … Your access continues without interruption."
  • Last chance: the add-on that was left out, "from … down to … per period, until …". See Downsell.
  • Discount ending: "From the charge on …, … goes back to the full price of … per period. Nothing changes until then." Goes out once, when 7 days or fewer are left.
  • Payment link: "The community's team sent you this link to pay your … subscription or add a card for the next charges.", with Pay or add a card. The team sends it from Members › Subscriptions; see Subscription management.
  • Dates and times in the community's time zone. Deadlines (for PIX, the boleto, the offer, the discount, the end of access), cancellation and plan change dates go out in the community's time zone, with the time zone abbreviation when there is a time ("until 11/20 at 23:59 BRT"), not the server's. See The community's time zone.
  • Abandoned cart: the product, the amount, the Resume purchase button and the Unsubscribe link. Sent once per cart, only if the community turns on Send recovery e-mail, and never to whoever already got Declined or Expired for that order. See Abandoned carts.

Frequently asked questions

Does the buyer receive an invoice? Not through the platform: the invoice is issued by the community.

Does the email go out in the buyer's language? Yes: in the language the buyer chose on their account, or the community's, if they never chose one. Notices for the community go out in the community's language.

Can I resend the PIX email? The code also stays on the checkout screen and, for renewals, on the member's Billing page.
