> Podcast and Videos leave the community: a public RSS for directories, a personal link to listen in podcast apps, a player to embed on other sites and importing shows by RSS. Episode links become cards in posts, and Analytics shows RSS consumption.

## What's new

- **Show RSS.** In the **RSS and embed** tab of a Podcast or Videos show, the owner and admin set the RSS to **Personal link**, **Public** or **Off**. When public, the show can be listed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other directories (it needs a cover and a category). See [RSS, embed and import](/espacos/podcast#rss-embed-and-import).
- **Listen in your podcast app.** **My feed link**, on the show page, gives everyone with access a personal link to listen to the episodes, closed ones included, in Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts and other apps; **Get a new link** invalidates the old one. See [My feed link](/espacos/podcast#my-feed-link).
- **Embed on other sites.** **Embed**, on the show or episode page, gives you the player code to paste into a website or blog. An open episode plays right there; a closed one invites people to sign in or subscribe. See [Embed on another site](/espacos/podcast#embed-on-another-site).
- **Episode links become cards.** A link to one of the community's episodes pasted into a post or comment becomes the episode card, with the reader's own access. See [An episode link in a post](/espacos/podcast#an-episode-link-in-a-post).
- **Import a podcast by RSS.** **Import by RSS**, at the top of the space, brings in a show hosted elsewhere: the episodes come in as drafts and the audio files are copied into the community. See [Importing a show from RSS](/espacos/podcast#importing-a-show-from-rss).
- **RSS consumption in Analytics.** The **Podcast (RSS)** view in **Analytics** shows how much podcast apps downloaded from the feeds in the period, and the show and episode **Numbers** now have RSS downloads and plays on other sites. See [Podcast (RSS)](/membros/analytics#podcast-rss).
- **Editing as a team.** In campaigns, library e-mails and default e-mails, the text block someone is editing is locked for the others, with that person's face, and saves by itself about 1 second after they stop typing; what was saved shows up on everyone's screen within seconds, without erasing what you wrote. In events, the lock is per section; in posts, articles and episodes, one person edits at a time, and the owner and admin can **Take over editing**. See [Editing as a team](/conceitos/editar-em-equipe).

## Improvements

- **Remove a short post's audio.** Before, a short post with audio could only go as a whole; now, in the post's **Edit**, **Remove audio** takes off just the audio, after a confirmation, and the text stays. See [Podcast and Video in the Feed](/espacos/feed#podcast-and-video-in-the-feed).
- **Video feed only when there's video.** In **My feed link**, the **Video feed** shows up once one of the show's video episodes is live. See [My feed link](/espacos/podcast#my-feed-link).
- **Saving the whole campaign keeps someone else's block.** If someone saved a block after you opened the campaign, saving the rest no longer undoes what they wrote.
- **E-mail in use.** The notice when editing an e-mail in use says where it is used: sends, default e-mails and automations.
- **Community chat turned off.** People editing the same item see only how many others are also editing, with no face or name, and the save notice does not say who saved. See [Who is here and team editing](/conceitos/presenca-e-edicao-em-equipe).
- **New security controls.** We applied new security controls to Memberfy. Nothing changes in how you use it: everyone keeps seeing and doing the same as before.

## For developers

- MCP: the assistant changes a show's RSS and embed, hands out and renews the feed link (`get_my_show_feed`, `rotate_my_show_feed`), imports a show by RSS (`import_show_from_rss`) and shows RSS consumption (`get_media_feed_analytics`). See [Tools · Podcast and Videos](/mcp/ferramentas-podcast-e-videos#rss-embed-and-import).
- API: `GET /api/media-shows/{id}/my-feed`, `POST /api/media-shows/{id}/my-feed/rotate`, `GET /api/analytics/media-feeds`, import by RSS and the show fields `rssMode`, `feedType`, `ownerEmail` and `embedEnabled`; an episode link in `POST /api/embeds/resolve` returns `provider: memberfy-episode` with the episode card.
- MCP: `remove_post_audio` removes a short post's audio (the author, or moderator and up; asks to confirm). See [Tools · Content](/mcp/ferramentas-conteudo#remove-post-audio).
- API: `PUT /api/campaigns/{id}/blocks/{blockId}`, `PUT /api/emails/{id}/versions/{language}/blocks/{blockId}`, `PUT /api/email-overrides/{emailKey}/{language}/blocks/{blockId}` save a single block; an item, section or block being edited answers `423`; campaigns carry `blocksUpdatedAt`, and `PATCH /api/events/{id}` checks the version per section. See [Responses and errors](/api/respostas-e-erros).
- MCP: campaign, e-mail, event, post and episode changes are refused with the name of whoever is editing in the app; `update_campaign` requires `blocks_updated_at` when it sends blocks. See [Common problems](/mcp/problemas-comuns).
